WHY WE GO
Three threads run through the whole trip.
THREAD 01
Joy
We create joy in our lives by discovering the beauty of Vietnamese culture — its food, its music, its streets, its temples.
THREAD 02
Healing
We heal through our ancestral wounds, so we can pave a new path for our life and our love.
THREAD 03
Heritage
We embrace our heritage, and let it stop being something we explain and start being something we carry.
WHAT THIS IS
Cultural immersion, embodiment, and deep listening.
We start each morning at the villa with sound baths, breathwork, and somatic practice. Afternoons we go out — Buddhist temples, nature reserves, the Mekong, Hội An at lantern hour. Evenings are yours to explore with us: markets, street food, wherever the night goes. And we play in every region.
MOVEMENT 01
Wellness & sound healing
Mornings at the villa alternate between sound healing, movement, breathwork, and meditation. A real container, not a hotel function room. This is the ground everything else sits on.
MOVEMENT 02
Music & performance
One DJ session in each region, and two in the south. If you already mix, that means a real room, a real crowd, and a professionally recorded set. If you don't, it means being in the room when it happens.
MOVEMENT 03
Food, exploration & going out
Markets, street food, tailors in Hội An, temples in the afternoon and night markets after. The regions don't look or taste alike, and the point is to actually be in them — not to watch from a van.
YOUR CONTENT CAPSULE
You leave with something you can use.
A professional photo and video team travels with us. Everyone goes home with edited photographs and a short vertical edit. DJs also leave with a recorded set from their performance.
Outdoor sound bath under bamboo and woven lanterns Facilitator playing crystal bowls in a green field Soaking under a night sky full of stars
SEGMENTS & DATES
One anchor week in the middle. Three ways to extend it.
Here's what we're building each region around. Specific days and combinations get finalized closer to the trip — some of these are full-day excursions, others an afternoon.
Ground transport for excursions is arranged through our Vietnamese partner and paid directly to them — roughly $150–200 per person for the anchor week.

NĂM TUỔI · YEAR OF THE GOAT
February 22 is my birthday, and it falls on our second day in the south. 2027 is also Đinh Mùi, the Year of the Goat — my own zodiac year. In Vietnamese tradition that's a năm tuổi: not a year of easy luck, but one that calls for protection, intention, and renewal. Traveling through Vietnam's temples during that year, with this group, is part of why this trip exists at all. It's the thread running through the temple visits and the sound work — a reason to be there beyond sightseeing.

HOW THIS COMPARES
There are cheaper ways to see Việt Nam.
Per person, per day, so the comparison is honest. What you're paying for here is the container and the people in it, not the mileage.
Group tours
$80–180 / day
A guide and a van. No facilitation.
Curated group itineraries
$200–280 / day
Good logistics. No container.
Resort wellness programs
~$950 / day
Real programming, but you never leave the property.
This retreat
~$530–670 / day
A facilitated container, three regions, a professional media team, a performance opportunity, and a small group of peers instead of strangers.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Terms first, not in the footer.
All dates are measured from February 21, 2027, the anchor week start. The same schedule applies to every segment.
Within 14 days of enrolling, and no later than Nov 15, 2026
Payments beyond the deposit refunded. A $250 administrative processing fee applies to every refund. The deposit itself is non-refundable.
Nov 16 – Dec 23, 2026
50% of payments beyond the deposit refunded, minus the $250 administrative processing fee.
Dec 24, 2026 – Jan 7, 2027
50% of value converts to credit toward a future program. Credit is valid 12 months, applies to programs only, and is non-transferable.
After Jan 7, 2027
No refunds and no credits. The full balance remains due.
DEPOSITS
One third of your tier total. Non-refundable, but transferable to another Honeybun's program within 12 months.
RESALE
If your spot gets filled by someone else — your referral or ours — you receive a full refund of everything paid beyond the deposit, at any point in the schedule. We'll actively try to fill it.
SPOT TRANSFER
Find a replacement who fits the group and your entire booking transfers with no penalty.
IF WE CANCEL
Minimum headcount not reached by Nov 15, or a segment doesn't fill by Dec 15 — 100% refund, deposit included. After November 15 the trip is confirmed and runs regardless of later cancellations.
FORCE MAJEURE
Natural disaster, pandemic, government travel restriction, airport or border closure, or civil unrest — the trip is rescheduled or converted to credit valid 24 months, not refunded in cash.
TRAVEL INSURANCE IS REQUIRED
Proof of purchase required within 14 days of enrollment. It must include trip cancellation and medical evacuation coverage. Insurance covers the situations this policy doesn't — buy it early, because most policies only cover reasons that arise after purchase.
No refunds for unused portions, early departure, or missed segments.
Missed flights, visa issues, and entry denial are the participant's responsibility.
We reserve the right to adjust properties, excursions, and the daily schedule. Segment length, inclusions, and price will not change.
We reserve the right to remove a participant whose conduct endangers or seriously disrupts the group, without refund.

WHO'S LEADING IT
Harry Sang Bùi
I run Honeybun's Music Academy in Los Angeles — DJ instruction, sound healing, and facilitation. Several retreats so far, and this will be my second abroad. It's Việt Nam for a reason: it's where my family is from, and I've spent years learning how to be a guest and a host there at the same time.
Expect a small group, a real schedule, and someone who has run this kind of container before.
